The Arlberg area - a winter sports paradise

A vast, snow-sure skiing paradise for all skill levels. Known for its excellent groomed slopes and a true paradise for powder snow and spring-snow slopes. For our boarders, there is a great terrain park on Schlegelkopf.

To refine your skiing skills, or learn about the vastness of the ski area book a course or a private instructor at the ski school.

You have direct access into the ski area with the Zugerbergbahn which can be reached with your skis from Pension Waldhof. Otherwise you can take the local bus (free of charge during the day for our guests) to Lech, the ski school and shops which are all 5 minutes away. Long walks along a very scenic trail lead into the rear Zugertal.

Zug has also an extensive culinary offer . From normal guest house catering to premium dining in gourmet restaurants. There is a ski service and hire shop in the Rote Wand A special service: give your skis in for service, and they will be delivered in the evening to us in the ski room.

Ski Arlberg

The team of the Lech ski lifts ensures that the 280 km of slopes between 1,300 m and 2,800 m above sea level and 180 km of perfectly groomed daily deep-snow slopes are adequately prepared.

Modern cable cars, chairlifts and gondolas with partially heated seats rounds off a memorable day skiing.

Winter sports history and tradition

Arlberg Ski Club was founded in 1901, three years later the first ski race was held and in 1906 the first ski course. In subsequent years, developed at the Arlberg region, traditional winter sports offered through the efforts of many ski pioneers now 83 modern cable cars and lifts.

The Lech Ski School, founded in 1925, offers classes and private lessons for young and old, for the relaxed or experienced skier. Even off-pist skiers will have an experience. For those who are unfamiliar to Lech- the Lecher ski school can provide an instructor who can show you around in a day.

First class childcare for your kids

The team of children's club Lech ensures that you will soon be able to ski with your young ones on the bigger mountains in Lech. The daily schedule is structured clearly, but still offers the children the greatest possibility of freedom to play and enjoy.
